Photograph of a carved wooden figure from the Songye people, central Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R3904/1937). It is now held by the Science Museum (object number A652610).
