Photograph of a carved wooden figure of a pregnant woman from the Ivory Coast, West Africa. It was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Musem in 1931 and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R572/1937). It was removed from the Museum's holdings in 1965.
