Vide Medical Com- O' munications, Vol.II. 8vo, London. THE paper before us contains different cafes, in which furprifmg good effeCts were derived from the external application of Camphor. And, if the fame benefit (hall be derived from it in fimilar cafes, its intro- duction, in this manner, mayjnfldy be confi- dered as a difcovery of great importance in the praAice of medicine. In the firft cafe which Mr Latham relates, the patient was a gentleman upwards of 70 years of age, thin, and of a delicate confiitu- tion, but tolerably healthy, temperate in his diet, and ufed moderate exercife.
