Description

Three carved wooden statues of Saint Livertin, invoked against headaches. He is one of the six healing saints from Notre Dame du Haut, Moncontour, Brittany. One statue was purchased in 1928 and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R2415/1937). The other two were purchased in 1928 and accessioned in 1938 (accession numbers R594/1938 and R595/1938). They are not held by Wellcome Collection.
