  • RAMC/1759/1: Honorary degrees, etc., from the Society of the Faculty of Medicine of Paris, the Aberdeen and Edinburgh Medico-Chirurgical Societies, Aberdeen University, Vilna University (Lithuania, then part of the Russian Empire), the Brussels Medical Society, the French Society of Universal Statistics and the London Medico-Botanical Society, 1818-1833.
  • RAMC/1759/2: Letter from the Duke of Newcastle, Secretary of State for the Colonies, to Guthrie, re concerns about the medical services for the British forces in the Crimea, Feb 1854.
  • RAMC/1759/3: Two letters from Guthrie to his daughter, c.1818-1863.
  • RAMC/1759/4: Assignment of a lease of a house in Berkeley Street, Berkeley Square, Middlesex, from George James Guthrie to his daughter, Anne Leonora Guthrie, 17 December 1855.
  • RAMC/1759/5: Probate of Guthrie's will. With draft and notes re his wishes re funeral. The items comprise one copy of Guthrie's will, two original letters (each with their envelope) and one photocopied letter, 17 July 1856.
  • RAMC/1759/6: Printed copies of letters (1848-1851) re dispute between Guthrie and the Duke of Buckingham over money loaned to the Duke and his son, the Marquis of Chandos, by Guthrie and his daughter, Anne Leonora, 1848-1851.
