Project Summary:Are changes in the environment affecting our health? What about long-term effects on humans? At the Bristol Festival of Nature from 6-7 June 2009 the interdependence between biomedical issues and the natural world will be explored through a series of provocative talks, discussions with scientists and interactive opportunities in the Science tent. Attend these events to debate and challenge the interaction between environmental changes and human evolution, investigate the role of ‘natural medicine’ in the postpenicillin western world, and explore the use of natural resources for medicinal purposes by secluded tribes untouched by western civilisation.
