Photograph of three Chinese opium pipes: a bamboo pipe with metal bowl; a bamboo pipe; a wooden pipe with white jade bowl. The first pipe was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1925 and accessioned in 1926 (accession numbers R16820). The other two were purchased at auction by the Musuem in 1916 and accessioned in 1926 (accession numbers R16802 and R16803). They are not held by Wellcome Collection.
