"MRC/ICP - Antimalarials"

Correspondence concerning collaboration between Imperial Chemical (Pharmaceuticals) Ltd and the Medical Research Council on antimalarial compounds. File includes draft terms for collaboration.

TRC Board Minute 185 (copy in file): "Agreed letter be sent to Secretary of MRC stating that as antimalarials had not yet been adopted as a subject of pooled research by the Corporation, the proposals discussed on 12 March 1943 (see Min. 149) for testing substances were not at the moment a matter which the Corporation could consider, though those of its member companies working on antimalarials might be interested."

Correspondence in October/November 1943 refers to Notatin as an antimalarial compound.
