The box, of heart of oak, was covered with rich gold mosaic work (presumably by Mr. Newman), set with enamelled emblematic medallions, the significance of which is explained in the text. Dedicated anonymously from Plaistow, Essex to Eliza: Harcourt. French-English parallel text, the English in prose. The edition of “1718”? mentioned by CBEL, apparently known only by an advertisement, is therefore probably a ghost.
