Appears to lack leaf 03 (pp. 199-200); but this occurs between the Tales (from the 1001 Nights) and the Anecdotes (from the Tofet al Muijjalis), and might well be a divisional title or half-title of some kind—possibly even cancelled, as one divisional title is present. already. The third section is Letters from Aurungzebe. The 1001 Nights section, Scott declares, is from an Arabic MS, procured in Bengal, and a faithful translation, not a heavily Europeanised adaptation as in Galland and others.
