Description
Photograph of three Ancient Egyptian deities (from left to right): Ptah, Isis nursing Horus and Imnhotep. The statue of Ptah is made of stone and was previously part of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The statue of Isis and Horus is made of bronze and was purchased at auction by the Musuem in 1920 and accessioned in 1959 (accession number R150/1959). The statue of Imhotep is made of bronze and mounted on a woode base and was purchased at auction by the Musuem in 1911 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R42/1936). None of the items are held by Wellcome Collection.
