Description

Photograph of the items on display in the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. The mortar and pestle were found in Cornwall and were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at an unknown point and accessioned in 1937 (accession number R1192/1937 and R1193/1937). They were transferred to the British Museum in 1966.
