Photograph of an x-ray tube, possibly English. The anti-cathode has a metal cylinder to allow a larger surface for cooling. The item was purchased by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1929 and accessioned in 1956 (accession number R171/1956). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
