Previous title, replaced January 2025: A female stares out with wide eyes, her face is white with dark circles under her eyes; behind her a tiny house is obscured by diagonal purple lines and four grey shadows versions of her face recede into the distance. Gouache by Brenda Marshall, 1956.

Interpretation of the artwork is given by an unidentified hand on the reverse. Creator's name and date of creation are inscribed on the reverse, probably by Edward Adamson.
