Description

Photograph of strings of dried fruit, cowrie shells and other items that would be thrown and answers obtained from the way in which they fell. Originally from Ikot Ekpene, Nigeria. The items were acquired by the Wellcome Historical Medical Musuem from the M. D. W. Jeffreys, Government Anthropologist for Southern Nigeria in 1931-1932 and accessioned in 1936 (accession numbers R10419/1936 and R10420/1936)
