Biographical note
The Marcé Society is an international, multidisciplinary organization dedicated to research, education, and clinical care relating to mental health during pregnancy and the postpartum period. It was established in 1980 and is named after the French psychiatrist Louis-Victor Marcé (1828–1864), a pioneer in the study of mental illness associated with childbearing.
