Description
Impressions from two cylinder seals. The one on the left was Babylonian and incised with the image of a goddess flanked by votaries. It was purchased at auction by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1930 and accessioned in 1938 (R2363/1938). The other seal was made of haematite and incised with the image of a votary before his god. It was purchased at auction by the Museum in 1924 and accessioned in 1936 (accession number R14442/1936).
