With typed calendar of the papers. Comprises:

  • RAMC/215/1: 21 tickets of admission to lectures, and certificates of completion of courses in sciences, agriculture and branches of medicine, at the University of Dublin, the School of Physic in Ireland, the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, the University of Edinburgh and two Edinburgh hospitals; and a letter of authority from the Army Medical Department, recommending Dr. Davies's lectures, 1817-1823.
  • RAMC/215/2: Medical degree from Edinburgh University, 1820.
  • RAMC/215/3: Certificate from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, of qualification to practice anatomy, surgery and pharmacy, c.1823.
  • RAMC/215/4: Bills and receipts for clothing, provisions and forage, 1824-1834.
  • RAMC/215/5: Order to take up duties as Collector of Duties, Iles de Loss (Los), Sierra Leone, 1822.
