Description

Two images on one negative. On one side is a photograph of a clyster syringe, 1802, brass with carved wooden handle and bearing the arms of Nuremberg. On the other side is a photograph of a painting attributed to Thomas Wijck. Both photographs were sent to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum by a Dr Luz with a view to selling them.
