Recording of Alice Stewart talking about her career during the Second World War and post-war years, early epidemiological work, key research projects including a study on TNT poisoning in munition workers, research into tuberculosis among workers in the boot and shoe industry and her study into leukaemia in children under 10 and the link with the mother's exposure to x-rays during early pregnancy, and her work with Professor Thomas Mancuso and George Kneale on the health of workers in the American nuclear industry.
