Description

Two images on one negative: a photograph, 1901, of Sir William MacEwen (1848-1924) Scottish surgeon, and a photograph of Sir Jonathan Hutchinson (1828-1913) English surgeon and ophthalmologist wearing an early form of bifocal spectacles. The photographs were lent to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum by the Museum's Director.
