Contains a letter from Victoria P Coffey, St. Kevin's Hospital, Dublin, asking Penrose if he would carry out a chromosome count from fibroblast on a young mother who had recently given birth to a Down's syndrome baby, and a reply from Penrose stating that it may be possible to undertake the study at the Kennedy-Galton Centre, and that he will send bottles of the culture medium for transit.
