Biographical note

Common Ground was set up with the task of creating a population and sustainable development programme. It began in 1981 as part of the Margaret Pyke Memorial Trust's work and was launched publicly in 1983. In 1986 the programme had an exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London, and the exhibition subsequently toured internationally.
