About this work

Description

A painting by Psychiatric Patient 4 - "Pete" which shows a tree in a landscape. It is accompanied by text written by Rita Simon: "Once a tree grew in hilly green pastures. It was pear tree and it grew to be the shape of a pear. The left side of the trunk had been burned recently and was turned to charcoal. The rest of the tree wasn't damaged. The sun is setting behind the tree. It had been a hot and sunny day and it's cooling down."
