A reproduction of a print publication of a painting showing Guillaume Dupuytren (1777-1835), a French anatomist and military surgeon, presenting to King Charles X the first patient to be operated on for cataracts in Paris, 1814. The original is held by the Musée Carnavalet in Paris.
