Description

Photograph of a portable x-ray tube for use in a patient's house. It has a Villard Osmo regulator for lowering the vacuum and a paraboloid or funnel-shaped anode. The item was presented to the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum in 1934 and accessioned in 1956 (accession number R167/1956). It is not held by Wellcome Collection.
