Hodgkin, John (1857-1930)

Material relating to John Hodgkin's collection of cookery books.

Purchased 1931 by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum. Accession Number 73733.

At Wellcome Collection: The Hodgkin family archive is held as PP/HO, and contains correspondence and other papers by or relating to John Hodgkin. In addition, some papers by his uncle Thomas Hodgkin are held as MSS.5680-5686.

This was previously classified as a manuscript and re-classified as an archive collection during the Wellcome Collection Systems Transformation Programme in 2026.; Collection description compiled by Christopher Hilton based upon those in the Library's published finding aid by S.A.J. Moorat.
