John Hunter (1728-1793), anatomist: autograph letter, signed, to his former pupil Charles Brandon Trye (1757-1811), surgeon, thanking Trye for his scathing review of Hunter's Observations upon the new opinions of John Hunter, in his late treatise on the venereal disease (London: T. Beckett, 1786-1787) by Hunter's enemy the surgeon Jesse Foot (1744-1826).
