Wellcome Collection is a museum. A museum is a place where you can look at things and learn about them.

You do not need to pay to visit.

We are closed on Mondays.

We are open from 10:00 to 18:00 on:

  • Tuesdays
  • Wednesdays
  • Thursdays
  • Fridays
  • Saturdays
  • Sundays

There are normally fewer visitors in the mornings.

There are normally more visitors on Saturdays and Sundays.

We are a big stone building on Euston Road in central London.

You can enter through one of the two revolving doors.

Arriving by bus

If you have a folding bike, you can put it in a locker. The lockers are on level 0 of our building.

If you have a non-folding bike, you can park it in a bike rack. The bike racks are at Euston Station.

Arriving by taxi

Gower Place is at the back of the Wellcome Collection building. You will need to go around the corner to the main entrance at 183 Euston Road.

Wellcome Collection accessibility

We want Wellcome Collection to be accessible. Accessible means easy to use for everyone.

There is step-free access to all floors of the building via the four lifts.

There are accessible toilets on all floors of the building.

There is a Changing Places toilet on the ground floor, level 0.

We have:

  • ear defenders
  • tinted glasses
  • tinted visors
  • weighted lap pads.

If you want to borrow any of these things, please ask a member of staff.

You can borrow a wheelchair when you visit Wellcome Collection.
